Our shade sails are made of 190 GSM 100% virgin (non-recycled) HDPE material, the only ones on the market. This fabric, after 20,000 hours of laboratory UV testing, proves to be 70% more durable than recycled HDPE fabric under sunlight. It’s treated with a UV stabilized compound, ensuring the shade sails won’t dry out, tear, or fade, significantly extending their lifespan.

These shade sails block 95% of harmful UV rays, reducing the temperature and UV sunlight in shaded areas, making them perfect for patios, swimming pools, balconies, and carports. The breathable fabric allows water and air to pass through freely, preventing pooling water on rainy days. It’s durable against both UV rays and water, requiring no maintenance.

All edges are reinforced with heavy-duty double-layered stitched seams, preventing frayed edges and maintaining shape. Each corner ends with stainless steel D-rings for easy hanging, with extra heavy stitching to ensure the D-rings are strongly attached. Installation hardware kits are required and sold separately.

Hardware kits for installation are necessary and sold separately. Each D-ring will need one cable rope (DON’T use nylon ropes, as they break easily!!). Attach the other ends of the cables to existing poles, trees, or walls with the shade sail hardware kits. High-quality ColourTree hardware kits and cables are strongly recommended for the best performance and appearance.
